Tasting Notes
The most attractively priced wine, produced for the first time in this vintage from younger vines (70 percent in mostly used barriques), the little brother of Redoma, so to speak. Deep ruby garnet, deep color, violet core, emphatically fruity on the nose, primarily aromatic of strawberry jam, fully ripe plums, but with a fine spiciness behind it, shows the character of the region very authentically, powerful nose, yet fresh and inviting, concentrated on the palate, ripe tannins, yet also supple and elegant, shows a floating texture, appears very light, already easy to drink, fine cherry aftertaste on the finish, mineral length. Certain potential for five years. Good food companion. (Vergeiner, EUR 18.70)
