Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, reflections, subtle ochre rim. On the nose, dark berries, hints of blackberries, black cherries, leather and nougat, delicate notes of tobacco and candied mandarin zest, mineral touch. Complex, very elegant and freshly structured, with silky tannins, salty nuances, ripe cherries and a touch of liquorice, full of finesse and minerality on the finish. Still very youthful, with pronounced fruit on the finish and enormous ageing potential. A successful alliance between New and Old World.
