Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby garnet with an opaque core and purple reflections. A touch of brightening at the rim. The nose has a fine sweet spice and cool berry fruit, majoring on ripe plums and dark nougat. A delicate herbal note underpins the fruit. The palate is characterised by supportive, punchy tannins and a chocolaty texture that marries well with the sweet black berry fruit. Mineral and long, this needs a few years to mature and will be a powerful food companion of the future.
