The red wine Burdese IGT, vintage 2009 from the winery Planeta has been rated in 2013 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Sicily in Italy.
Rich dark ruby with a slight garnet rim. Interwoven and multi-layered nose, shows notes of tobacco, licorice, then lots of ripe cassis, some plum, inviting. Lots of present, dense tannins on the palate, builds up in many layers, salty, shows firm pressure in the finish, profound.
