The red wine Sondraia Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Poggio al Tesoro has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark garnet. Woody nose of dark berries, spices, rich cherries, then lots of dark chocolate, minimal malty aftertaste. On the palate dense and rich, reveals a rich texture, well-integrated wood tannin, still young, will be at its best in a few years.
