Shimmering, intense ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. A very fine and fragrant nose, full of plum, blackberry and cinchona bark, with cigar box in the background. Initially velvety and supple, caressing the palate like silk, latterly revealing a rich tannic drive, on a very long, tobacco-like finish.
