Tasting Notes
Bright ruby with a fine garnet sheen. A finely marked nose with lots of precise fruit - cranberries, cherries and pickled peach - whilst behind it lies subtle notes of truffle and some tobacco. On the palate, things really take off! Shows a lot of ripe fruit notes, then into vivid, very well integrated tannin, which forms the central spine of the wine. A long, salty finish.
