The red wine Barolo Cerequio, vintage 2013 from the winery Roberto Voerzio has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Luminous, rich ruby with fine garnet shimmer. Rich and lush nose, opens with notes of leather and liquorice, then lots of ripe plum, dark raspberry, rich and powerful. On the palate there is much polished, finely-meshed tannin, melting, juicy, vivid fruit sits on top, supple and round, much drive on the finish, good flow despite all concentration.
