The red wine Percarlo IGT, vintage 2003 from the winery San Giusto a Rentennano has been rated in 2006 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, sparkling ruby; very intense, open and accessible nose, of ripe raspberries, a hint of pickled cherries, underlaid with licorice tones; powerful attack and finish, shows notes of plums, slightly alcoholic, but densely structured tannins at the back, enormous pressure in the finish, with a raspberry aftertaste.
