The red wine Omaggio a Gillo Dorfles Aglianico Paestum IGP, vintage 2019 from the winery San Salvatore 1988 has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Campania in Italy.
Bright, deep ruby red colour with a garnet hue. On the nose initially savoury notes from oak aging, then fruity nuances of lush sour cherries and blood oranges, a bit fleshy and leathery in the background. On the palate with fruity in the beginning, with dense tannins and lots of ripe fruit, long finish.
