The sekt Blanc de Blancs Grande Réserve Extra Brut, vintage 2010 from the winery Sekthaus Raumland has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 96+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Blanc from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
On the nose, the wine strikes a fine balance between maturity and freshness, chamomile, liquorice and meadow herbs, also citrus notes and yeast. Concentrated and juicy on the palate, long-lasting acidity, structured, spicy finish. One taster even noted sansho pepper.
