The sekt X. Triumvirat Grande Cuvée Brut, vintage 2010 from the winery Sekthaus Raumland has been rated in 2019 by Anne Krebiehl MW und Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
A hint of lemon oil plays on the nose, which otherwise does not want to reveal much. Everything is still restrained. The palate is exceptionally lean, but builds on uncanny stony, yeasty depth. That this wine is nearly a decade old is remarkable, as it hasn't even begun to develop. A flint wine monument of incredible freshness.
More about the tastingRed berry notes, hay, yeast, apple jelly, also hints of gingerbread and aniseed buns. Fine but also punchy mousse, juicy acidity, subtle wood influence, but above all, polish and forward pushing freshness. Spicy, tactile-minerality accompanied notes on the finish. Delicate.
