The sekt Chardonnay Prestige brut, vintage 2011 from the winery Sekthaus Raumland has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Fine and vivid spiciness with notes of pome fruit, almonds and yeast bun, it is complex with deeper notes and at the same time is light-hearted and nuanced. The palate also shows fine spice, brioche, tart sweet apple, citrus, stone fruit, fine mousse, and a salty minerality. It is juicy with lively acidity, which picks up again neatly towards the finish.
