The sekt Riesling Tradition brut, vintage 2018 from the winery Sekthaus Raumland has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Fine yeasty notes, vine peach, apricot, stone fruit, freshly mown flowers, and a very fine spiciness. Wonderfully nuanced with inherent power, finely complex on the palate, and fresh with bright flowers. Strong apple, some stone fruit, juiciness complemented by a citrusy acidity, and a fine tight mousse. There is a nice grip and at the same time a digestible acidity.
