The red wine Moganazzi Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Tenuta delle Terre Nere has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Clear, brightening ruby red. A fragrant, playful nose with lots of raspberries and blackberries, then violets behind as well as a hint of lemongrass. On the palate it's decidedly juicy and fruit-driven, with ripe, fine-grained tannin and a dancing acidity. A lightly savoury mouthwatering finish.
