The red wine Santo Spirito Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Tenuta delle Terre Nere has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright ruby red with subtle brightening on the rim. Beguiling nose, lots of violets and lavender, rose hips and ripe cherries, some beef tomato and a hint of white pepper. Lively and tense on the palate, straightforward and pure, refreshing acidity, gripping tannins, lots of salt and spices on the long finish.
