The red wine San Lorenzo Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Tenuta delle Terre Nere has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red with brightening on the rim. Fragrant, compact nose, ripe fruit, strawberries and rose hip, behind thyme, tomatoes and a touch of vanilla. The palate has beguiling fruit and pronounced herbal spice, precise and highly elegant, salty, great harmony between acidity and tannin, long finish.
