The red wine Redigaffi Toscana IGT – Tua Rita, vintage 2000 from the winery Tua Rita has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby with a fine garnet tongue. A finely drawn, profound nose shows aromas of plums, mulberries and some dark chocolate. Polished and creamy on the attack and finish with very well-integrated tannins balancing lots of extract sweetness. Feels a little hot on the finish.
