The red wine Redigaffi Toscana IGT – Tua Rita, vintage 2001 from the winery Tua Rita has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, surprisingly young and dense ruby. Fine cool presence, fresh fruit, profound, of ripe Spanish ham, lots of mulberry, blackberry. Has a lot of power on the palate, powerful tannin, but becomes a little burnt on the finish, still grippy tannin, paired with sweet texture, power wine.
