Yellow flowers, fine woody aromas, melon, pumpkin peel, pear, apricot, mace, nutty notes, almond paste. Strong, firm structure, substantial rather than supple with good fruit content, the noticeable phenolics also lend structure, ripe acid vein, fine savouriness.
