Tasting Notes
Intense colour. Aromas of fully ripe blackberry and a touch of elderberry. Amazingly powerful on the palate with incisive berry fruit. Echoing salty-mineral finish. This fungus-resistant variety seems to feel at home in Brandenburg.
More about the tastingDeep colour. Dark chocolate on the nose, morello cherry, slightly buttery tones. The palate opens juicily and then gradually exposes a mellow tannin structure, an elegant acid nerve and a quite soft, plump body. A red wine in Sunday best.
More about the tastingThe wine is dark in colour and primarily fruity and berry in aroma: blackberry and elderberry, peppery. The palate reveals well-extracted tannins in a medium density, the acidity is surprisingly mild, the finish tends to be somewhat broad.
