The white wine »Steillage« Solaris, vintage 2021 from the winery Weinbau Dr. Wobar has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Solaris from the region Brandenburg in Germany.
This steep-slope wine from Lake Großräschen is rather subtle on the nose. Very light white-fleshed peach, light boxwood and caraway. On the palate, the wine becomes more expressive, showing a lively acidity with aromas of grapefruit, apple and pineapple. As a cooler vintage, 2021 suited the early-ripening Solaris perfectly in this respect. Fruity, fresh, light and balanced.
