The sweet and dessert wine Wehlen Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett Vintage Collection, vintage 2008 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Mosel has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Moselle in Germany.
Slate notes, peppery, wonderful ripe fruit notes, juicy on the palate, a little vinous, softer than the typical Kabinett, but with a juicy, brilliant acidity, and a content that promises years of further ageing. Dense, still compact, with a fresh finish.
