The red wine »Saphir« trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Albrecht Schwegler has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Cabertin from the region Württemberg in Germany.
A black-fruited, elegant nose with cool aromas of young plum, sour cherry, black cherry and violets. On the palate there's structure and plenty of body supported by good acidity and youthful tannins. Cedar, blackberry and cherry echo the nose on the long, cool finish.
