The red wine »Saphir« trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Albrecht Schwegler has been rated in 2017 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Blaufränkisch from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Fine new wood, coconut, tropical woods, and a very pure spiciness: ripe blackcurrant, mulberry, ripe blood orange, intensely herbal, juniper, sage candy. Fleshy tannin, fresh, menthol-spicy, still very compact, certain ageing potential.
