Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections with a subtle brightening of the rim. On the multi-faceted, structured nose, aromas of fine chocolate, blackberry confit underlaid by minerality and a touch of fig. The palate is full-bodied and elegant with fine acidity, very good balance, taut and persistent with some nougat, ripe cherry, and delicate red berry nuances. Has reached a first drinking maturity, a great food wine with certain ageing potential.
