The rosé »Maison« Rosé, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Axel Bauer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Baden in Germany.
Light salmon pink, light flowers, some violets, bread crust, very subtle vanilla, fine strawberry, stone fruit, apricot and also some marzipan. Emphatically dry on the palate with a lean and firm structure, not a flatterer, with noticeable tannins that are well integrated like the lively acidity, juicy, appropriate substance, somewhat salty, also texture, a prudent food wine. And a pleasure on its own.
