The red wine »Premium« Rondo trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Dahms has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Rondo from the region Franconia in Germany.
Perhaps the only high-quality Rondo in the world, the wine glides opaquely from the heavy bottle into the glass. On the nose, cedar, a little vanilla and wild berries. In the mouth the wood ageing has provided a velvety structure, whilst aromatically blackberry remains the defining feature.
