Tasting Notes
Maturity already visible in the glass. Slate savouriness, rose hip, cassis, beet, dried herbs, balsamic on the nose. Juicy on the palate, fruity, supple, fine attack, followed by a mineral, savoury freshness and a great density in the extract, vibrantly tense, fine pithy phenolics, already a great pleasure, but still a long way from the end.
More about the tastingComparatively bright with mature colour on the rim. On the nose: rosehip, balsamic and savoury notes, some wood, cassis and slate. Sinewy on the palate, firm acidity and mineral tension meet a backdrop of supple, almost viscous richness. Very ripe berry flavours continue through to the finish, almost becoming raisined, in tandem with the typical Höllenberg minerality. Will be very long-lasting!

More about the tastingNeeds some air. Fragrant type: some yeast, fine slate spice, cassis, herbs, fine tannins, lots of juice, sweet palate fruit, very classic Höllenberg in its delicacy, fine acidity, not over-concentrated in the extract, but still long.
