In the mouth, the wine shows dense phenolics – acidity and minerality determine the middle of the palate, and the varietal aromas reveal themselves only in an extremely closed early form through the dominant structure. Has a lot of ageing potential. Long-lingering iodine flavours. Polarizes somewhat.
