Tasting Notes
Medium yellow gold. Fine nuances of blood orange on the nose, delicate caramel, vanilla and delicate floral-honey aromas. Fine, juicy fruit on the palate, very elegant, pleasant sweetness, fine acid structure, incredibly youthful, intense thanks to a fresh acidity, yet well balanced. (A second bottle was significantly riper, with notes of cooked rhubarb and quince, raspberry pulp and a somewhat drying finish). This year, for the first time, the term ice wine is explicitly mentioned on the label.
