The white wine »Tag am Meer« Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Hammel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Accessible on the nose with notes of passion fruit, papaya, pear and elderflower, with apricot thrown in for good measure. Captivating on the palate with fresh acidity and juicy performance with passion fruit, kiwi and a smooth fruit sweetness. Skillfully balanced, as you would expect from Hammel, the glass won't stay full for long.
