The red wine Rufus Cuvée Prestige, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Höfflin has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Baden in Germany.
An intense aroma of cassis, green bell pepper and pink peppercorns rises to the nose. A herbal, black-fruit Bordeaux cuvée that lives up to its ageing in barriques. On the palate the acidity, which is accompanied by restrained tannins, sets the tone.
