Tasting Notes
An initial whiff of savoury herbs, wormwood, shy wood tones. An unctuous, almost oily onset, followed by substance in the powerful midpalate, a very long gustatory phase, ripe, firm acidity, and an expressively fruity finish.
More about the tastingThe aroma is reminiscent of a Burgundy and is characterised by smoke and minerality, restrained fruit. In the mouth, notes of flint and herbs, bright fruit, the structure is finely woven and underpinned by a fine minerality. A dense and concentrated wine that nevertheless does not appear heavy, superb length, finishes with mineral nuances.
More about the tastingComplex and spicy aroma with Mirabelle plum and pear, also roasted aromas. Opens soft and elegant, clear density on the mid-palate with salty accentuation, a lot of tension, drive and minerality, which leads into a delicate finish. Has potential.
