Tasting Notes
A savoury, dark berries aroma with a ripe character, Amarena cherry, plum, beeswax, elderberry juice and blackberry confit. The palate is dense with mealy, slightly astringent tannins that become somewhat dry on the finish, overall medium to good weight in the body and the expression of fruit and savouriness, with a very good limestone mineral underpinning.
More about the tastingSmoky, dark berry, herbal and savoury with a hint of menthol and earthy notes. On the palate, the wine proves to be pronounced in fruit, developing a warm fruit with a supple base against a fine-grained, rather subtle tannin. Smoothness and acidity intertwine seamlessly. Very long.
