Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections. On the nose, a fresh oak savouriness, hints of cedar and tobacco, underlaid with notes of blackberry and liquorice. Elegant and juicy on the palate, with good complexity, fresh sweet cherries, well-integrated, firm tannins and pronounced fruit on the finish. A versatile food wine, with some ageing potential.
