The sweet and dessert wine Trockenbeerenauslese, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Pöckl has been rated in 2014 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Sweet fig notes underlaid with a fine honey touch, dark berry fruit, wonderfully vivid fruit, a hint of currant. Juicy, sweet plum fruit, fine acid structure, some cocoa on the finish, mineral aftertaste, great length, very harmonious. It is probably the first red Trockenbeerenauslese without any botrytis.
