The white wine »Steiwii Chasselas« Gutedel trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Schneider-Pfefferle has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gutedel from the region Baden in Germany.
An aroma of flowers, meadow herbs, medlar fruit, apple, aniseed, and wet stone. A Chasselas that leaves tradition behind with its powerful structure, inner density and mineral touch. Mellow and fine phenolics also play a role, in addition to a little iodine on the serene finish.
