The white wine »Pur« Weißburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Schneider-Pfefferle has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Lots of yeast on the nose, apple peel and cider with caraway notes and dried apricot. Gripping. On the palate there is good tension and density, but this is also supple with juice and some richness, phenolic layering, spicy and peppery. Still youthful but with potential.
