The white wine »Steiwii Chasselas« Gutedel trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Schneider-Pfefferle has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gutedel from the region Baden in Germany.
Yeast, brioche, mushroom and porcini mushroom on the nose, accompanied by passion fruit and candied pineapple. Very clean and subtle, noticeable acidity. Excitingly complex on the palate. Pepper, chamomile, fennel, papaya. Elegant minerality. Makes you want another sip, with smoked meats.
