Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Ripe plum and blackberry fruit, with smoky and spicy undertones, tobacco nuances, a hint of nougat and spices. Complex, taut, tight texture, vivid well-integrated tannins, red berry nuances on the finish, shows good length. It will certainly benefit from a year or two of bottle ageing.
