Dark ruby colour, opaque core, purple reflections. Tobacco-like, finely spiced plum fruit, fine blackberry confit, a delicate hint of figs. Sweet texture, full-bodied dark berry fruit, vivid, well-integrated tannins, shows a hint of opulence and extracted sweetness in the finish, a lavish style, chocolatey finish, very good persistence, spices in the aftertaste, certain ageing potential.
