The rosé wine »Major Tom« Minheim Rosé, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Tom Benz has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sauter, Otmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Benjamin Vombach, Dominik Herzog with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Schwarzriesling, Dornfelder , Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Moselle in Germany.
Bright salmon pink in the glass. Raspberries, red currants, grilled red bell pepper, dried herbs on the nose. Taut on the palate, with tension, juicy, supple core, finely extracted phenolics, mineral savouriness, herbs, beautiful fruit, finely crafted, very drinkable. Great as a soloist and with food.
