Still restrained nose, rosehip, cassis, blood orange, herbal spice, sage, violets, dark chocolate, smoky ash. Broad on the palate, refreshing acidity, juicy ripe fruit, supple tannins, balanced, fine spice towards the end, slightly peppery, sour cherry, a lovely fireside wine.
