The sweet and dessert wine Welschriesling TBA, vintage 2008 from the winery Weingut Velich has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 95 - 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Welschriesling from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep amber, with brightening on the rim. Intense nuances of dried plums, ripe figs, honey and herbs, candied orange zest. Very complex and concentrated, fine fig notes, some nougat, a racy acidity, lemony, with a nutty finish, the essence of Welschriesling, designed to last for decades.
