The white wine »Monoceros« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weinhaus am Wißberg has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Clear greenish reflections in the glass. Notes of cedar on the nose combined with crab apple, aniseed and fennel. On the palate, the "Monoceros" is the only really dry white in the collection. It's ambitious but without any exaggeration. Give it the time it needs to develop when drinking.
