The rosé wine »Chaiselongue« Blauer Spätburgunder Rosé, vintage 2021 from the winery Weinhaus Bettina Schumann has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
A medium red orange in colour. Ripe Pinot Noir grapes, almost a red wine nose, also blood orange and quince. The palate is supple and carried, slightly oily even, then a silky, very fine phenolics takes hold, accompanied by intense, pure palate fruit, the finish on mineral components. Refined wine, very grown-up.
