Red orange in colour. Would one blindly think of rosé? Probably not. Woody notes and complex, Burgundy berry fruit rise from the glass. On the palate, the wine has structure and substance like a great wine, yet the juicy acidity and lively freshness preserve the rosé-typical drinkability and tension. And somehow a clear Kaiserstühl identity hovers over everything.
