The white wine »Dit is der Clou von`t Janze«, vintage 2021 from the winery Weinhaus Bettina Schumann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauer Burgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Light reddish-golden in colour. Coconut and blond caramel from the oak. Aniseed, and also tuff notes. The fruit is still somewhat shy: red apple, Charentais melon. In the mouth, the wine develops incredibly fine phenolics and salinity. The acidity seems concentrated and in a paradoxical way seamlessly merged with the body. Great length.
