Dense, bright ruby red, with a light garnet rim. Multilayered and concentrated on the nose, opens with slightly spicy, resinous notes, wild blueberries, some smoke and liquorice, then an explosion of prune, balsamic notes and dried fig. Substantial and dense, abundant amounts of grippy tannins embedded in a beautiful texture, a magnificent wine for this vintage, long lasting.
